Basic Product Safety
Although AGIANT aluminum pans, aluminum lids, and aluminum
cardboard lids are food/oven safe, we recommend using the
following guidelines in use of our products:
Do’s:
- Use caution when placing lid on and crimping edges of the
IVC (Interrupted Vertical Curl) lids as pan edges are sharp.
- Center in the microwave for even heating
- Secure lid for transportation and shipping.
- Create a tight seal around edges.
- Use caution when opening lid from hot item as steam may
burn skin.
- Enjoy your creations in Agiant Pans.
Do Not:
- Do not use aluminum cardboard lids near a direct flame.
- Do not use aluminum cardboard lid in oven set to broil.
- Do not microwave lids.
- Do not put plastic containers in conventional ovens. (They
will melt)
- Do not use aluminum cardboard lids for more than 2 hours
or at temperatures over 350۫.*
- Do not heat aluminum pans at temperatures over 600۫.
- Do not use lid more than once
Basic Food Safety
Do’s
- Wash hands and surfaces often
- Cook to proper temperatures.
- Refrigerate promptly.
- Discard any food left out at room temperatures for more
than 2 hours.
- Reheat foods to 165۫ within 2 hours.
- Use caution when cooling food.
Do Not:
- Do not mix leftovers with fresh food.
- Do not reheat food that has previously been reheated.
- Do not refreeze meat or poultry unless cooked first.
- Do not hold hot food below 140۫ or cold food above 40۫.
- Do not defrost food uncovered.
